Kiwi Fruit Ripens – March 2013

DSCN4368Our New Zealand brothers and sisters continue to progress at a great rate, as I found out on my recent visit to Wellington to work with Stu Dunn and his growing band of Kiwis. It was great to work with many who’ve returned for yet another round of seminars, and to meet some newcomers who have joined up since my visit last year.

We had a great weekend. tweaking and refining some previous drills and concepts, and then we added on some new twists and variations optimised for further growth. Stu’s done a fantastic job ensuring that his troops stay on track, and I’m happy to report that all goes well in the Land of the Long White Cloud!

  1. Thanks once again Sifu for another amazingly insightful weekend! I mentioned to you – even though you say it every visit – that one of the insights that really stuck with me this time around was the question; “What would a skinny 80 year old do to improve / get out of this situation using Wing Chun principles?” I seem to remember some 14 years ago a certain Sifu Dana Wong saying something like “Don’t fight force with force..” 😉

You guys in Australia don’t know how lucky you are to have such free access to such a teacher – my advice is to take advantage and get to classes (before us NZ’ers steal a national treasure lol)

    Looking forward to next time!
